I love teaching! I love teaching in Rochester. Both my husband and I went to McClelland Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School. We are very vested in the community because we call Rochester our home. We have three little boys - they keep us very busy! Tom, my husband is a computer programer for CA Technologies and inspires me everyday to think more critically about my teaching and pushes me to keep up with technology. Hence this web site! (Thanks Tom!) Our family is learning to play ukulele together as Santa brought us each one for Christmas. We have in our ukulele collection several sopranos, a concert and a tenor.
I love to learn! I earned my Music Education (K-12), Bachelor of Science degree from Plymouth State University. During my program I studied Music Education K-12 and the French Horn. Education is very important to me. I love to play music.
From Lesley University I received my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction degree. During my program I studied all art modalities, extensive educational theory and developed core curriculum for my classroom. It was a lot of fun!
I love to attend technology workshops such as incorporating Ipad technology into the classroom and using Interactive white boards to help students learn- cool cutting edge stuff.
I cannot wait to learn more fun ways to teach and learn!
