5th graders at Gonic and McClelland Schools have been working to write music compositions which highlight their understanding of form. Students created a short piece of writing that connected to the way their composition sounded and made them feel. Shamus, an amazingly talented, McClelland fifth grader, did a unique piece using only the notes D, B, and A. Putting note clusters to use, he added beautiful color to the sound.
