Dear Music Students and Parents,
Our concert is fast approaching. We will be performing an original musical “Christmas Family Feud.” It is like the traditional game show with an entertaining musical twist. Each student in grades 1, 2, 3, and 4th and 5th grade chorus are invited to take part in this concert. Kindergarten is not in the performance as they do not attend music class. Please encourage your child to practice each day- especially to practice singing and dancing together; it really helps one to remember the lyrics. Students have received a practice lyrics to their songs which should be very helpful with the learning process. Each page in the lyric sheets tells which grade is responsible for learning that particular song. You can also access the music and videos here at our music website in the Concert Preparation section.
Attire:
Each student can dress as they wish and feel comfortably for our concert/play. I suggest something fun like a snowman, reindeer, or an elf. One could dress simply in red and green or other bright colors. The play we are putting up is so much fun and lends itself to costume easily; consider a santa hat or other holiday accessories. I just ask that students look their best. No new outfits needed. Be creative!
